Food Handler's Training Course at the Library, April 11th

Dear Retail Food Establishment Owners and Operators:

The Middlesex County Office of Health Services will be presenting a basic Food Handler's Training Course at the Middlesex Public Library, 1300 Mountain Avenue, Middlesex Borough, on Tuesday April 11, 2023, from 1 :00 pm - 4:00 pm.

The required $25.00 attendance fee will be collected upon arrival at the course. It is payable by cash or check, to "County of Middlesex".

The information presented in this course will help food service workers to protect and handle food safety for public consumption. All retail food establishments are encouraged to send as many representatives as possible.

This course DOES NOT fulfill Chapter 24 Food Manager Training requirements for Risk Type 3 establishments.

Although it is strongly recommended that all establishments send a representative to this course, those that have a current Serv-Safe or other State-approved food manager certification are exempt from having to attend. A copy of a valid certificate must be posted in the establishment.
