Community Pool: A Fall Poem

Twas the first day of Fall
Down at the pool
The pools were all covered
The weather was cool

The frog slide is ready for slumber
The snack bar is all packed up
Everything is tucked away
Nothing visible, not even a cup

Water slide is covered
Diving board packed away
Lane lines and diving blocks
Stored for another day

Dreaming of Summer
Seems so far away
Pool memberships and guest passes
Will be back one day

Fun in the sun and pool
So many memories held dear
Until next Summer
We'll be right here....
