Sock Drive for Veterans Hosted by the MB Police Department
Middlesex Borough Police Department Hosting Sock Drive for Veterans
Between April 1 - April 24, the police department will be accepting donations of new socks, which will be added to bags containing personal items and toiletries assembled by the NJ State Elks Veterans Annex in Stirling, NJ. With the help of the ELKS, these bags will be put together and delivered to US Military Veterans along with other resources for housing and job opportunities. These efforts are to support the women and men who have proudly served our country and have already given so much. The comfort items, including new socks, are some of the most sought after items. We are honored to help facilitate the generosity of our community in this show of support and appreciation.
Donations can be made at police headquarters between April 1st-24th or at the John W. Lupu Memorial American Legion Post 306 during Wednesday Dinners on April 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th between 5:30-8:00pm.
