Middlesex Rec is Ready for Spring
Winter is almost over, and it’s time to get our brains and bodies moving!
The Middlesex Recreation Department has three programs available for residents this spring:
Middlesex Tennis
Weekly classes begin on April 21 at Mountainview Park Tennis Courts. The program is open to kids ages 8 and up through adults. All ability levels are welcome! Registration starts at $142 and includes professional coaching, age-appropriate equipment, a dri-fit t-shirt, and seven weeks of skills, drills and fun games! Space is limited, and the program typically sells out, so register today — select the tennis photo for a link to registration information.
Virtual CSI Camp
Do you have a young detective at home? Students in grades 6-12 will use STEM principals to analyze virtual crime scenes in classes led by current and former law enforcement detectives. The program runs from March 22-26 (7:00 – 8:30 pm each night). The cost to register is $85, and the deadline is March 11. Find out more at NationalCSICamp.org or select the “crime scene” photo for a link to registration information.
Recreation Baseball and Softball
Kids ages 4 through 8th grade are invited to join us on the ballfield. With three levels of programs for both baseball and softball, we’ve got a program that is the right fit for your young player. Volunteer coaches are also needed. Registration ranges from $40-$60 depending on league. Register by March 12 to avoid late fees. Play ball!
